Position Summary:
The Department of Medicine, Division Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology is actively seeking Rheumatologists with superior clinical and academic skills at the level of Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor in a non-tenure clinical educator track.
This position involves outpatient Rheumatologic care and inpatient consultations, coordination of Rheumatology education, and involvement in clinical research. Clinical activities will be in a hospital-based clinic and community clinic.
We offer both a competitive salary and an academic appointment with the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Department of Medicine, commensurate with the applicant's background and accomplishments.
Minimum Qualifications:
MD degree
Board certified in Internal Medicine
Board certified or board eligible in Rheumatology
Candidate must have current, unrestricted, New York State medical license or NYS Licensure in progress and active on date of hire
Candidate must have current, unrestricted federal, and as-needed state, prescriptive authority
Preferred Qualifications:
Board certified or board eligible in Rheumatology
