The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine Division of Rheumatology is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified rheumatologist in a full-time faculty position to help grow the division's clinical footprint within our general rheumatology and/or subspecialty centers of excellence, located in Baltimore, Maryland. The successful candidate may have recently completed a fellowship or be an early or mid-career Rheumatologist seeking a more challenging environment in which to grow. Additionally, clinical leadership opportunities may be available for highly successful candidates.
Work in collaboration with the Directors of Clinical and Research Operations, and other Divisional and Departmental leadership to advance the clinical, research and education missions of the division, including (but not limited to): the sustained delivery of high-quality patient care; development of clinical programs in this arena; and delivery of medical education to post-doctoral fellows, residents, interns and medical students.
Essential Job Functions
Furnish complex medical care to adult patients in outpatient setting at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center campus (general rheumatology or disease-specific centers)
Provide medical consultation when requested patients in an inpatient setting at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center (typically 4 weeks per year)
Teaching opportunities on the general medicine service at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center
Triage outside hospital adult patient transfer requests via the Hopkins Access Line

Qualifications
A Doctoral degree is required.
1-3 years of related experience is required.
