Job Purpose: The Rheumatology Sales Specialist will be responsible for covering a large territory and will focus on a defined target list of physicians/practitioners within the territory. The Rheumatology Sales Specialist will focus on the total office call to assure the needs of all partners are met within compliance guidelines including Nurses, Office Managers, and others. The Rheumatology Sales Specialist must also be able to develop relationships and maintain an active presence in the Rheumatology community and associated organizations.
The Rheumatology Sales Specialist will drive disease awareness, initiation, and usage of Novartis Rheumatology products. The Rheumatology Sales Specialist will achieve targets for sales performance consistent with Novartis' compliance standards and market share and grow effective business relationships with customers (physicians, treating staff and other partners) that support delivery of business results. The Sales Specialist will initiate and support programs that make a difference to the lives of the patients we serve.
This is a remote opportunity with territory covering St Louis South.
Your Key Responsibilities: * Build disease awareness with key partners, proven understanding of treatment initiation processes, patient identification etc. * Collaborate with partners, internally and externally, on prior authorization, payor restrictions, reimbursement stipulations, and patient referrals to support patient access. * Manage the sales budget and grow Rheumatology sales across the territory through development of impactful territory plan and engaging communications. * Employ business planning and local market knowledge to develop sales and customer networks. * Grow relationships and communications with all partners and communities to develop solid understanding of treatment algorithm and business dynamics within accounts. * Implement com-pliant and medically relevant programs to effect significant customer satisfaction and sales. * Successfully complete all training and pre-certification requirements.
