![]() Postdoctoral Scholars - Rheumatology, Allergy, and Immunology (RAI) - Multi-Disciplinary University of California San Diego The Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology (RAI) is actively seeking postdoctoral fellows to make a difference in understanding diseases within the spectrum of angioedema, arthritis, asthma and allergic diseases and autoimmunity. We are inviting applications for postdoctoral positions. The RAI Division includes many different Principal Investigators with a range of research interests and a large number of NIH, VA, DOD, philanthropic, and pharmaceutical company awards. We also have two active NIH T32 awards. There is ample opportunity for academic growth, multi-institutional and multi-disciplinary collaboration, and clear pathways to independence. PI Name/Lab Areas of Interest: Dr. Nunzio Bottini: Arthritis, Scleroderma, Phosphatases Dr. David Broide: Chromosome 17q21 gene biology, asthma Dr. Maripat Corr: Arthritis, Pain Biology Dr. Taylor Doherty: Asthma, Inflammatory airway disease, AERD, Sinus disease, innate lymphoid cells Dr. Gary Firestein: Inflammation, epigenetics, cell signaling, rheumatoid arthritis Dr. Mark Ginsberg: Inflammation and Vascular Biology Dr. Monica Guma: Arthritis, osteoarthritis, metabolomics Dr. Miquel Lopez-Ramirez: Vascular inflammation and gene expression Dr. Robert Terkeltaub: Arthritis, Inflammation, Epigenome, Gene-Transcriptional Networks Dr. Bruce Zuraw: Angioedema Basic Qualifications: Applicants must have Doctorate degree or its equivalent in project area. Appointment is dependent on academic experience, scholarly achievements, skills and knowledge. Preferred Qualifications: Postdoctoral or equivalent experience, and commitment to mentoring and research training service to build equitable and diverse scholarly environment. Enthusiastic and self-driven individuals with demonstrated productivity and collaborative characteristics. Preferred experience in Specialization areas and related analysis.
