![]() HS Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor - Rheumatology The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine, is currently recruiting for a full-time Rheumatology faculty position in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the rank of Assistant and/or Associate Professor. Appointees to the Health Sciences Clinical series are required to teach, participate in university service and provide direct patient care. Applicants must have M.D. degree, be Board Certified in Rheumatology, and be eligible for medical licensure in the State of California. Candidates are expected to have a strong record of clinical care in the management of soft tissue rheumatism as well as autoimmune diseases, to provide excellent clinical care. A strong background or clinical training in immunology is highly desirable. Experience in or the ability to teach and supervise medical students, residents and fellows is required. The ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment is required. Applicants should be skilled in the use of biological therapy and the ACR Guidelines for their usage as well as an understanding of potential drug interactions. Successful candidates will see patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting and interact with the University Residency and Fellowship program. Experience in or the ability to teach and supervise medical students, residents and fellows is required. The ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment is required.
