This is a full-time Academic track or Master Clinician track position
On the Academic track, the faculty member will have 75-80% clinical effort, through the University of Minnesota Physicians. The clinical service is comprised of both outpatient clinics in the CSC, and 8-10 weeks of inpatient consult service, as part of a shared call schedule with other Division faculty. The other 20-25% of this position will be dedicated to the pursuit of an area of academic interest, and participation in the teaching of medical students, residents and fellows.
On the Master Clinician track, the faculty member will have 100% clinical effort, through the University of Minnesota Physicians. The clinical service is comprised of both outpatient clinics in the CSC, and 20 weeks of inpatient consult service, as part of a shared call schedule with other Division faculty.
• M.D. and Board Certified • Demonstrated excellence in patient care • Demonstrated enthusiasm for medical education and strong teaching skills • Must have or be able to attain a medical license in the state of MN • Must be able to pass credentialing at all applicable sites
Applicants must have the ability to receive work authorization in the United States from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to the requirements of VISA category while in the United States.
