The Research Study Assistant will be primarily responsible forinputting and organizing data into spreadsheets, chart reviews, data de-identification, filing, consenting of research participants and processing and storage of biological samples. The incumbent mustbe detailed oriented, have great organizational skills, be Microsoft Office proficient, and have the ability to complete tasks independently. Must be able to work 8-12 hours a week and will be available to continue working over the summer and fall. Must be available between the hours of 8am-5pm Tuesdays and Thursdays.
This position is grant funded.
Salary: Grade 23
1-3 years of experience and Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
Individual will need to complete basic lab safety training, biological safety training, IATA shipping training, CITI training required bu BUMC for human subject research, as well as other delegated training.
