Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking two Clinical Pharmacy Specialists to join our expanding Specialty Pharmacy Service. This clinic-based pharmacists will support the Rheumatology/Dermatology/GI (position 1) and Hematology/Oncology (position 2) teams.
Responsible for the overall drug therapy management of patients in specific pharmacotherapy specialty areas and the education of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and pharmacy students regarding the appropriate utilization of medications. The clinical specialist is involved in direct patient care through multidisciplinary rounding and patient monitoring, develops and implements education programs for pharmacists, educates and trains pharmacy residents and students, and provides in-service education to physicians, nurses, and medical students.

A Doctor of Pharmacy degree ASHP accredited PGY1 and relevant PGY2 specialty residency or equivalent experience.
Must be licensed or eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy in the state of Pennsylvania
Prefer PGY2 trained in Ambulatory Care (for Rheumatology/Dermatology/GI position).
Prefer PGY2 trained in Hematology/Oncology (for Hematology/Oncology position).
