The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics, Section of Pediatric Rheumatology, is seeking applications for a full-time academic faculty position at the assistant or associate professor level to join a group of three Pediatric Rheumatologists. We are interested in physicians with a demonstrated commitment to an active and diverse outpatient and inpatient program, and to the teaching of fellows, residents, medical students and multidisciplinary professionals. Scholarly activity is an integral component of this position. This activity may be in research, education, or clinical program development. Protected research time will be commensurate with individual career goals. Any level of research experience is welcome. Our Pediatric Rheumatology team is active in clinical research studies, both investigator-initiated and multi-center studies. We offer opportunities to collaborate with cutting-edge biomedical researchers in a variety of settings, from cellular level bench research through clinical research protocols.
